My clients are physically and mentally challenged. I take care of their medication, meals and personal hygiene. Depending on the day some go to work, some go to medical or dental appointments and some do in-home activities.

 

They struggle with their disabilities, so we’re there to support them in their day-to-day routines, to make sure they’re safe and secure. We enhance and support their life in public and in the community.

 

I think I have a great connection with them all. I’ve enjoyed my journey with them tremendously. I’ve given them my whole heart and soul and there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for them. I believe community social services workers have enhanced their clients’ lives a thousand times over.
 

I’m a very positive person. The work has taught me how very important it is to treat every individual with respect.
